Characters are called upon to investigate the disappearance of six Greycloaks, the name given to soldiers of the Republic of Greyhawk. The party was joined by several other volunteers. Their search for the Greycloaks took them to an old barrow protected by a haunted ent and strangely intelligent murder of crows. The barrow’s portal had become a gate that led to a ruined fortress where a hag known as Magda the Crone dwelled. The group fought her orc and troll servants, as well as her horrible progeny, the Wicked Children. The hag fled before encountering the party, but vowed to the surviving Greycloaks that she would avenge herself on their rescuers.
